Shirley A. Montgomery, CPA
Shirley’s association with Perry L. Demma goes back to 1978; she began working for the firm on a permanent part-time basis in 2012. While she prepares many individual returns, a major focus of her work within the firm is on estates and trusts, partnerships, and corporations.
Education and Experience. Shirley received her BS in Business Education (with high distinction) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1971. After passing the CPA exam in 1978, she worked full-time for Miller and Moore CPAs for four years, where she first met and worked with Perry. Then, in 1982 she returned to the classroom—but maintained her CPA Permit to Practice with continuing education classes and by actively servicing her own tax clientele and by doing independent contractor work for Perry.
